ESPAnet 2017 – 15th Annual ESPAnet Conference

Tomorrow our colleagues Menno Fenger, Romke van der Veen and Babs Broekema will go to the ESPAnet Conference 2017 in Lisabon. The Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas – Universidade de Lisboa will host this conference from September 14 to 16. It will be a challenging opportunity to discuss the new horizons of European social policy in the aftermath of the neoliberal austerity period and the Brexit.

Menno and Romke are the stream convenors of The State of Local Welfare: the implementation, organization and politics of local welfare. The focus of this stream is on the experiences of the implementation, organization and politics of integrated welfare service delivery on the local or regional level.
Babs will present her paper: Towards a local welfare typology.
